I read this article a couple of week sago that I wanted to share with you:
I relate to the article because I’ve also stopped reading novels for a while (The last one I read was The Hate U Give in late 2018).
One reason for this is that I don’t have time to read a 350-page book while I’m in school and another one that I’m becoming more interested in memoirs and nonfiction books.
But it’s also what the author says: I have a harder time finding a novel that interests me because the stories and the storytelling aren’t as appealing as they used to be for me.
It’s frustrating, but I remain hopeful; waiting for the time when I find a good novel to dig in (and have the time to do so).
What do you think of the article and the situtation? Have you stopped reading novels, too? What is your reason?
